Vidya Soundarajan has worked in the field of Sustainable Development, Climate Change, Biodiversity Conservation and more recently she has been engaged with enhancing nature and climate finance. Building partnerships, enabling communities, creating long term, multi-faceted programmes with dual benefits of adaptation and mitigation are her core area of expertise. In addition to her on-ground experience, she brings with her government and geopolitical perspectives, as well as learnings from her active engagement in the private sector. At Iora, she facilitates large landscape-level programmes to be multipronged and multidimensional for achieving large compounded results in a short time, considering the climate emergency.
