Dr Tanya Sharma, with 8 years of experience in consultancy and carbon markets, is actively involved in developing carbon projects under international registries. Prior to IORA, she spent over 3 years with a carbon project developer. She brings expertise in the energy sector and has completed the issuance of multiple projects under various voluntary carbon programs, including the Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS), Sustainable Development Verified Impact Standard (SD VISta), and Gold Standard (GS) programs. She has also been involved in business development, stakeholder management, and the development of community-based projects.

Throughout her career, she has engaged in a diverse range of projects aimed at addressing sustainability challenges and promoting resilient urban development with different ministries and bilateral organisations.
