IORA Ecological Solutions is looking for dynamic, energetic interns who are interested in the Forestry & Biodiversity sector. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about our projects and work with the experts in the field.
The interns will be working closely with our team to conduct fieldwork, research, capture data, and coordinate with teams for project implementation.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of these interns would be to assist in –
- Data collection on 3 Schemes and 8 sub-schemes of the MoEFCC
- Data analysis of the schemes and their budgets,
- Report writing, and other project collaterals,
- Literature review on related topics,
- Collate and analyse data as required,
- Any other research tasks assigned by IORA (desk-based).
Desired Qualifications, Skills, and Experience.
- Pursuing or completed Master’s degree in Ecology, Biodiversity, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Management, Economics or related disciplines from a reputed University/Institute.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to coordinate with team members and local communities
- Experience working with review of analysis of government schemes
- Prior experience with analysis of government schemes
- Excellent analysis skills
- Any prior experience with government budget analysis
