About the Job 

Iora Ecological Solutions (IORA) is a leading organisation working at the intersection of climate action, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development. IORA is seeking a creative Communications Intern to support organisational outreach. The role focuses on translating technical work, field-based insights, and programme outcomes into clear, engaging, and accessible material for diverse audiences and stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Developing engaging social media posts
• Creating content for internal and external communication collaterals
• Co-creating engagement strategies and material for digital and conventional media and working towards executing these
• Assisting in developing social media campaigns, proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies, and improving the readability of existing content
• Conducting keyword research and implement SEO strategies that improve website traffic
• Providing on-ground support for IORAs events

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communications/ Public Relations/ Journalism/ Marketing/ any related field.
• Good writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Creativity and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop innovative communication solutions.
