Puneet Pathak has over 33 years of experience as a forester, managing and administering various types of forests in Karnataka. During his tenure as an IFS officer, he served in numerous capacities across Karnataka, before retiring as a Principal Chief Conservator of Forests. Prior to his retirement, he served as Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests at the Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority – Karnataka (CAMPA) and as Member Secretary of the Karnataka State Biodiversity Board.
During his tenure as APCCF – Evaluation and Training, he was instrumental in managing key Government of India programmes, including the National Afforestation Programme, the National Bamboo Mission, and the Green India Mission.
