Responsibilities: 

  1. Coordinate and execute HR operations and duties
  2. Maintain the recruitment and selection process
  3. Be the primary point of contact for consultants for any HR issues on the ground and collaborate with leadership team for it’s resolution
  4. Create talent pipeline in line with the workforce plans
  5. Coordinate all financial activities and communications between our field team and the head office
  6. Conduct on boarding and off boarding activities, and effectively handle all employee grievances
  7. Maintain human resource information system records and compile, analyse and present MIS reports effectively.

Job Title: WEB – GIS Developer

Job Location: New Delhi 

Duration: Full-Time Position

About the Job:

IORA is in process of creating a geospatial analytics web application for early-stage funding. The application platform will assist target users and stakeholders ranging from government, public and private organizations along with individual land-owners to assess land use land cover change, and assist them with carbon monitoring, reporting, and verification mechanisms. It will also allow highlighting priority sites for implementation of potential restoration and conservation efforts by generating automated real-time reports on project-specific land dynamics information.

The functional aspects of the application need a thorough understanding of JavaScript, Python, SQL, and HTML. The exact work is to plug in the functional gap in the already built code and develop new functionality with help from the in-house RS-GIS team for algorithm prototyping. The candidate should be able to develop modules and programs according to the specification and prototypes specified.

Academic Background:

B.Tech. in CS/IT with 2-3-year experience in full-stack development

Responsibilities: 

  1. Collaborate with the team to set specifications for new applications
  2. Design creative prototypes according to specifications
  3. Conduct functional and non-functional testing
  4. Troubleshoot and debug applications
  5. Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features
  6. Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design

Technical Skills Required:

  1. In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools
