Job Title: Python Developer

About the Job:

IORA is in process of creating a geospatial analytics web application. The application platform will assist target users and stakeholders ranging from government, public and private organizations along with individual land-owners to assess land use land cover change, and assist them with carbon monitoring, reporting, and verification mechanisms. It will also allow highlighting priority sites for implementation of potential restoration and conservation efforts by generating automated real-time reports on project-specific land dynamics information.

We are looking for two experienced individuals who can handle the implementation of System design, DB design, and Scalable Architecture. The preferred developer must have good experience in working with Python in the Django framework. The primary focus of the personnel will be the development of all server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. He/she will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by teammates into the application; therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
